SPECIFICATION FOR "NTPL" MAKE 110KV/50mA AC HIGH VOLTAGE TEST SET
- SERIES: AHVMTOC2
- TYPE: 110K050mTM
"NTPL" make AC High Voltage Test Set is suitable for Power frequency applied voltage test on transformers, motors, insulators, cables etc. for which the test parameters are within the technical scope of output of the test set. The set is capable of giving continuously variable High Voltage from 0-110KV.Technical features
- Input: 230 Volts, single phase, 50Hz, AC.
- Output: Continuously variable from zero to 110KV AC.
- Capacity: 50mA max.
- Duty: Intermittent i.e. 5 minutes ON, 10 minutes. OFF.
Output voltage variation: By means of motor driven arrangement.Approx. rate of Rise of output voltage: 2KV/s.Over load tripping adjustment at any setting from 25mA & 50mA.Over Voltage Indication & Protection provided. The above test kit will be in 2 units i.e.
- Control & Measurement Unit.
- AC HV Transformer Unit.
All the above units will be provided with wheels for easy movement.CONTROL & MEASUREMENT UNIT
- Power Mains ON – OFF operation is done by means of an ON-OFF switch along with ‘ON’ lamp indication & Fuse protection.
- Unlock the Mushroom type ‘Key Lock’ push to energise the control circuit.
- 'HT' ON – OFF push along with ‘HT ON’ lamp indication.
- Continuously variable autotransformer of suitable capacity to increase the output test voltage up to the required voltage level.
- Earth interlock facility provided. HT circuit cannot be energised without proper connection.
- Zero start interlocking will be provided to ensure that the HV circuit cannot be energised unless the regulator is initially kept or brought back to zero position.
- Increase/Decrease circuit to control motor operated Voltage Regulator. When high voltage circuit is switched ON the regulator will rotate to increase the output voltage when INCREASE/DECREASE switch is kept in 'INCREASE' position and ‘INCREASE’ push is pressed ON or decrease the output voltage when the 'INCREASE/ DECREASE' switch is kept in 'decrease' position.
- The required HV when raised can be kept for 1 minute. A 'TIMER' will be provided to measure the duration of applied HV. A Buzzer will indicate the end of 1-minute test and the voltage regulator will gradually & automatically decrease to reduce the voltage level to zero.
- Automatic tripping mechanism for protecting the HV transformer against over loading. The tripping mechanism can be adjusted at different values as mentioned above. After tripping, High Voltage will be switched OFF.
- Digital voltmeter generally connected to the LT side and scaled in KV. Resolution: 0.1, Accuracy ±1% of range.
- Digital milliammeter along with 'Press to read mA' push button to read the leakage current.
- In case of over voltage a lamp & buzzer will indicate over voltage and the increase mode circuit will be automatically cut OFF.
- Memory device along with push button switch enables the meter of the Test Set to indicate the breakdown voltage even after the high voltage circuit is tripped OFF.
The whole control circuitry will be housed within a sheet metal cabinet treated with anti-corrosive prima and powder coated. The control unit will be mounted on a trolley.HV TRANSFORMER UNIT
- HV Transformer used in the test set will be oil natural cooled indoor type and of suitable capacity. The HV winding of the High Voltage Transformer is of graded insulation; one end of the winding being connected to the earth potential through a CT operated milliammeter & tripping device, while the other end remains in floating condition as HT Terminal.
- The transformer will be designed to withstand frequent intermittent spark over or short circuit conditions under which such testing transformers are designed to operate.
Approx. Dimension
- Control Unit: L=494mm, B=495mm & H=1163mm
- HV Transformer Unit: L=600mm, B=690mm & H= 1040mm
Approx. Wt.
- Control Unit: 67.2Kg.
- HV Transformer Unit: 380Kg.
DOCUMENTSOperation Manual, Works Test Report, Warrantee Certificate will be supplied along with the set.OPTIONAL FEATURES AT EXTRA COST
- Digital meter
- SET/MEASURE option facilitates to set the maximum rise of High Voltage upto the set level beyond which the High voltage cannot be further raised. This facility can be provided both for motorised as well as Automatic Test Sets.
- Tripping current setting other than the mentioned ranges.
Note: Microcomputer Based Fully Automatic Programmable (customised) sets can also be supplied.
