"NTPL" make primary can be used to test heavy electrical equipment with a maximum efficiency at minimum cost, providing a convenient means of delivering, controlling and measuring a heavy current in a comparatively low voltage low impedance circuit. A set like this is ideal for routine testing of circuit breakers, current transformers with or, without ammeter and can be used for many other applications where a heavy current supply of short duration is required.

Input: 415V,1 ph,(between 2 ph. of 3ph. System)50Hz AC.
Output: 0-2000A at 5V or 0-200A at 5V or 0-3000A at 5V for 30 secs.
Duty: intermittent ie. 5 minutes ON, 10 minutes. OFF.

The above test kit will be in two units provided with wheels ie.

Loading unit.

Digital Ammeter in 100% of the selected range. Resolution: 0.1

Variable voltage source to the current loading transformer used separately to obtain a variable voltage output source.

Terminals for External Time Interval Meter with 230V, 1 ph, 50Hz AC socket.

The whole control circuitry housed within sheet metal cabinet treated with anti-corrosive prima and powder coated. All switches, terminals, meter etc, are mounted on the top panel, which can be approached by opening the hinged lid.

Loading unit

This unit will be housed within a well-ventilated sheet steel cubicle fitted on roller and consists of the following items.
Double wound loading transformer with terminals provided for output current ranges.
Current transformer & its secondary terminals.

Additional facilities: Phase sequence meter & CT polarity check provision.
